E. Maureen Collins, PA-C

Emma Maureen Collins is a native of Norton, Virginia. Maureen received a BS in Exercise Science at East Tennessee State University in 1991. She received her Associate Degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant at the Medical College of Georgia in 1994 and received her Physician Assistant Certification from East Carolina University in 2002.

Maureen's certifications include: NCCPA Board Certified, NCCPA Surgical Board Certified, 1 year completion Level I Trauma Residency Program in Chicago IL and Certified in Controlled Substance DEA Registered.

From 1994-1999 Maureen's experience included 5 years as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Charlotte for sports related injuries, with the majority of experience in long term care facilities: total hip, total knee and reconditioning rehabilitation.

From 1999-2000 Maureen worked as a Podiatry Assistant for a three-physician practice in Charlotte, N.C.

Maureen has been with Greensboro Orthopaedics since August 2003
