Dr. Olin is a native of Greensboro, N.C. He received his B.S. Degree in Biology from Wake Forest University. He graduated Cum Laude and was a four year academic all ACC Soccer Letterman. Dr. Olin received his M.D. Degree from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He served his surgical internship and orthopaedic surgical residency at Duke University Medical Center where he was actively involved in providing orthopaedic coverage to Duke’s athletic teams.
Dr. Olin completed the Otto E. Aufranc Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. During his year long fellowship, he participated in a large volume of primary and complex revision joint replacement surgeries. Furthermore, his training focused on advanced surgical techniques in hip and knee replacement in addition to working with alternative bearing surfaces.
He joined Greensboro Orthopaedic Center in August 2004 and is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Olin specializes in total hip and knee replacement surgery.
Dr. Olin’s non-professional interests include soccer, golf, tennis and spending time with his family. He is married to the former Mary Catherine Natale and they have two children, Catherine and Brooks.
