Brian Buchanan, PA-C

Brian Buchanan is a native of Partridge, Kentucky.  He attended the University of Kentucky and received a B.A. degree in Psychology, Cum Laude.  He was inducted as a member of Psi Chi,  National Honor Society in Psychology, as well as, the Golden Key National Honor Society.  He obtained a B.H.S. degree, with honors, at the University of Kentucky College of Allied Health Professions and completed the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants in 2000.

After completion of his B.H.S. degree, Mr. Buchanan received a Master's degree in Medical Science with emphasis in surgery at Alderson-Broaddus College.  He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants, and the NC Academy of Physicians Assistants.

He has been employed at Greensboro Orthopaedics since 2002 and works in conjunction with the Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon, Dr. William Gramig.  Mr. Buchanan's non-professional interest include: fishing, boating, music, and guitar. He is married to the former Misty Ann Hatfield, who is a practicing Urgent Care Physician Assistant and they have one son, Gabriel Brian Buchanan.
